My name is Irina, and I teach Hatha yoga since 2014. My background is in neuroscience. I've been working as a researcher for many years. I blend the scientific approach with yoga knowledge in the way I teach. Yoga gives us tools to reach the state of clarity and calm, both mentally and physically. We use breath, movement, attention, and voice - the tools that are available to anyone at any time.
Practicing and teaching yoga has transformed me in many ways. Yoga helps me to make better decisions, be a better mother, build healthier relationships, be compassionate to myself and others. I am currently learning to become a yoga therapist in the Svastha program in Amsterdam.
